以4-甲氧基-3,5-二甲基-2-羥甲基吡啶為原料合成2-氯甲基-3,5-二甲基-4-甲氧基吡啶鹽酸鹽的一般步驟如下:向4-甲氧基-3,5-二甲基-2-羥甲基吡啶(25.1 g,0.15 mol)的二氯甲烷(400 mL)溶液中緩慢滴加亞硫酰氯(18.8 g,0.158 mol)的二氯甲烷溶液(100 mL)。反應(yīng)在室溫及氬氣保護(hù)下進(jìn)行,滴加過程持續(xù)30分鐘。滴加完畢后,繼續(xù)在室溫下攪拌反應(yīng)30分鐘。反應(yīng)完成后,通過減壓蒸餾除去溶劑。將得到的固體殘余物懸浮于己烷(200 mL)中,過濾收集固體。用己烷(50 mL)洗滌固體,隨后在空氣中干燥,得到2-氯甲基-3,5-二甲基-4-甲氧基吡啶鹽酸鹽33.3 g(產(chǎn)率100%),為白色固體。
