General Procedure for Synthesis of 6-N-arylaminouracils 2a-h
General procedure: 6-Chlorouracil (0.2 g, 1.36 mmol) and appropriateamines (0.03 mol) were heated to reflux for 2 h. The mixturewas then cooled and Et2O was added. The mixture was sonicatedfor 15 min. The white suspension was filtered andwashed with water (15 mL), methanol (15 mL) and Et2O (15mL). The white solid was placed in a desiccator and driedovernight to yield 2a-h.
