鹽酸依普拉酮的鹽酸鹽呈白色結(jié)晶粉末，無(wú)臭，味苦。能溶于熱水，難溶于冷水，不溶于丙酮、乙醚。鹽酸依普拉酮為兼具中樞性與末梢鎮(zhèn)咳作用的非成癮性鎮(zhèn)咳藥，主要作用于咳嗽中樞。Eprazinone (NSC 317935) 是一種化痰藥。

Eprazinone specifically displaces binding to the NK1R. Although Eprazinone displays a rather weak inhibition of [ 125 I]BH-SP binding to NK1R, at a concentration of 25 μM, and an antagonistic effect of about 30%, NK1R blockade could contribute to its mucolytic activity.
