以4-甲基苯胺為原料合成4-甲基苯肼鹽酸鹽的一般步驟:將4-甲基苯胺(10.7g,0.1mol)與稀鹽酸混合于200ml圓底燒瓶中。緩慢滴加亞硝酸鈉溶液(30ml,7.3g,0.105mol)至上述混合液中。反應(yīng)混合物攪拌1小時后過濾。將濾得的清澈液體滴加到含有亞硫酸鈉(37.8g,0.3mol)的70ml水溶液中,于80℃下反應(yīng)約1.5小時。隨后,緩慢滴加濃鹽酸(25ml,0.3mol),并將反應(yīng)溫度升至95℃,繼續(xù)反應(yīng)約2.5小時。反應(yīng)完成后,將混合物在室溫下靜置過夜,析出4-甲基苯肼鹽酸鹽固體。經(jīng)過濾、干燥后,得到產(chǎn)物12.9g,產(chǎn)率為90.0%。
