TROP-2是人類(lèi)細(xì)胞中的單拷貝基因，其編碼的I型跨膜糖蛋白在多種惡性腫瘤中過(guò)度表達(dá)。該蛋白亦稱(chēng)為腫瘤相關(guān)鈣信號(hào)轉(zhuǎn)導(dǎo)蛋白2（TACSTD2）、GA733-1或M1S1。TROP-2與上皮細(xì)胞粘附分子（EpCAM，亦稱(chēng)TROP-1、gp40或KSA）具同源性。Trop-1和Trop-2作為信號(hào)轉(zhuǎn)導(dǎo)分子，與血清胰島素樣生長(zhǎng)因子II（IGF-II）結(jié)合蛋白存在同源結(jié)構(gòu)，因此可能代表一類(lèi)新型細(xì)胞表面受體，在調(diào)控癌細(xì)胞生長(zhǎng)中發(fā)揮作用。
