This protein carries a polyhistidine tag at the C-terminus.

The protein has a calculated MW of 36.0 kDa. The protein migrates as 40 kDa when calibrated against Star Ribbon Pre-stained Protein Marker under reducing (R) condition (SDS-PAGE) due to glycosylation.

連接蛋白-4（Nectin-4，基因別名PVRL4）是一種66 kDa的I型跨膜糖蛋白，隸屬于免疫球蛋白超家族中的連接蛋白家族。該蛋白作為細(xì)胞黏附分子，在發(fā)育期及成體階段，對上皮細(xì)胞、內(nèi)皮細(xì)胞、免疫細(xì)胞和神經(jīng)細(xì)胞的極性建立、增殖分化及遷移等生物學(xué)過程具有關(guān)鍵調(diào)控作用。臨床研究表明，Nectin-4是重要的腫瘤相關(guān)抗原，在乳腺癌、卵巢癌和肺癌中的陽性表達(dá)率分別達(dá)50%、49%和86%，且主要存在于預(yù)后不良的腫瘤組織。值得注意的是，相應(yīng)正常組織中未檢測到該蛋白表達(dá)。
