Bombesin has common effects on the gastrointestinal tract and eating behavior. Frogskin acts on two types of receptors: one with high affinity for neuroregulatory protein B, and the other with high affinity for frogskin and gastrin releasing peptide (GRP). BIM 189 is a new frog skin hormone antagonist peptide composed of 9 amino acids, while BIM 187 is a frog skin hormone agonist.
