Amylin, Amide, Human Acetate is a peptide with 37 amino acids, which is a pancreatic hormone secreted together with insulin and plays a unique role in metabolism and glucose homeostasis. It can inhibit the secretion of glucagon, delay gastric emptying, and serve as a satiety agent. MCF-7 cells express endogenous human amylin receptors CTR1 and CTR2. Stimulating receptors with amylin, amides, and humans leads to the production of cAMP. Amylin, amide, human (0.001 nM-1000 μ M) Resulting in an EC50 of 35.2 ± 7.5 nM. Injected subcutaneously into different groups of Swiss male mice. A typical PK curve for free amylin was observed, with a half life of 23 minutes.
