Background of development
In recent years, food, beverage, and drinking water industries have developed rapidly by rate of annual growth 10% to 20% in China. In order to make the products meet health standards, ozone and chlorine disinfectants are widely used in sterilizing the channels, equipment, packaging materials, and even products in the process of production. Before disinfected by ozone, the water contains free chlorine and compounded chlorine. The traditional determination method of ozone can not be a true reflection of the actual concentration, so ozone (with free and combined residual chlorine) detection kit is introduced.

Quick and easy
Operating in accordance with the instructions, users can complete the ozone (with free and combined residual chlorine) test independently without specialized training. Five minutes is enough to complete the analysis of one water sample.
Accurate and reliable
Determination results with this method are in accordance with the results with the standard method. It can be used as an alternative method to the standard method.
The range of the determination: 0.05~1.0mg/L. If the concentration is out of the range, please repeat the operation after appropriate dilution of the water sample.
Quantitative packing
The kit can be used for 50 times. It is small in size, light of weight and easy to carry.
Specification
1. Fill the round sample cell with 15ml of sample.
2. Add five drops of DPD NO. 1, cap and shake to mix. Add one DPD NO.4 tablet immediately and compare the color visually just after dissolved (Reading A).
(2) At the same time when the step (1) being carried on, get a clean colorimeter tube and add some water sample to be tested to the scale line. Add one DPD NO. 4 tablet and compare the color visually just after dissolved (Reading B).
(3) The ozone concentration in water is(B-A)mg/L.
Put the colorimetric tube to the blank of the standard card, then lift the tube up to 1cm, observe the color in the tube from top to bottom. The concentration (mg/L) level of the standard card that has the same color as the sample shows the concentration of the sample.
Note:
(1) The pH of the water sample is 5.0~8.0;
(2) The presence of other oxidant will interfere with the determination.
(3) The color will stable for 5min.
Application areas:
This test kit can be used in analysis of ozone containing of free chlorine and compounded chlorine.
