PHA是一種促細(xì)胞分裂原（mitogen）。在體外能刺激小淋細(xì)胞轉(zhuǎn)化成具有免疫活性的淋細(xì)胞，并促進(jìn)其分裂。轉(zhuǎn)化的淋巴細(xì)胞能分泌各種淋巴因子。
1、PHA對(duì)外周周血淋巴細(xì)胞的轉(zhuǎn)化作用。外周血淋巴細(xì)胞與PHA在體外一起培養(yǎng)，可使小淋巴細(xì)胞轉(zhuǎn)化為淋巴母細(xì)胞。
2、PHA刺激淋巴細(xì)胞有絲分裂。
3、PHA能增強(qiáng)淋巴細(xì)胞玫瑰花環(huán)率，可用以判斷機(jī)體細(xì)胞免疫功能。
4、PHA有促進(jìn)腹腔巨噬細(xì)胞的吞噬作用。
5、PHA能誘導(dǎo)產(chǎn)生細(xì)胞移動(dòng)抑制因子。

生物活性
Phytohemagglutinin (PHA, Phaseolus vulgaris agglutinin) 在畢赤酵母中利用天然信號(hào)肽或釀酒酵母α-因子前體序列表達(dá)，將蛋白質(zhì)引導(dǎo)至分泌途徑。Phytohemagglutinin 可通過(guò)增加凋亡蛋白 Bax 和激活 caspases-3 來(lái)誘導(dǎo)人HEp-2癌細(xì)胞的凋亡。靶點(diǎn)
