在室溫條件下，向攪拌中的3-（氰基甲基）苯甲酸甲酯（1.029g，5.87mmol）的THF（10ml）和水（0.5ml）混合溶液中加入氫氧化鋰（493mg，11.7mmol）。將反應(yīng)混合物在50℃下持續(xù)攪拌過夜。反應(yīng)完成后，蒸發(fā)去除溶劑，殘余物在水和乙醚之間進行分配。水相用乙醚萃取三次。隨后，將水相用濃鹽酸酸化至酸性，再次用乙醚萃取三次。合并所有有機相，用無水硫酸鈉干燥，減壓濃縮，得到745mg（產(chǎn)率79%）的3-氰甲基苯甲酸。產(chǎn)物經(jīng)1H NMR（DMSO-D6）表征：δ 13.11（1H，s），7.95（1H，s），7.90（1H，d，J = 7.6Hz），7.60（1H，m），7.53（1H，t，J = 7.6 Hz），4.14（2H，s）；MS（ESI）m/z 160（M-1）。
