在1L三頸燒瓶中加入18.63g(0.2mol)苯胺、78.55g(0.42mol)4-溴苯甲醚、56.10g(0.5mol)叔丁醇鉀和465.7g甲苯。隨后加入3.66g(4.0×10^-3mol)Pd2(dba)3和2.32g(8.0×10^-3mol)(t-Bu)3PH·BF4作為催化劑。將反應(yīng)混合物加熱至100~108°C,反應(yīng)4小時。反應(yīng)完成后,將反應(yīng)液過濾,濾液用200g水洗滌,并用無水硫酸鈉干燥。通過硅膠柱層析純化,使用甲苯作為洗脫劑,得到棕色粘稠液體。將上述粗產(chǎn)物用甲苯和乙醇(質(zhì)量比為1:2)進行重結(jié)晶,得到51.0g黃色粉末狀4,4'-二甲氧基三苯胺,產(chǎn)率為83.5%。
