R-(–)-Flecainide is the (R) enantiomer of the antiarrhythmic agent flecainide . R-(–)-Flecainide prevents chloroform-induced ventricular fibrillation in mice (ED50 = 14.5 mg/kg). It also prevents ouabain-induced ectopic ventricular tachycardia in anesthetized dogs. | [Uses]
