Under stirring, add 200g of N, N-dimethylformamide (DMF), 90g of 99% pure N, N'-bis(4-ethoxycarbonylphenyl)formamidine (0.262mol), 61g of potassium carbonate (0.44mol) and 48g of benzyl chloride (0.38mol) to the reaction device in sequence. Slowly raise the temperature to 45℃ and keep the temperature for 24h. After the reaction is completed, add the reaction solution into the water while hot and filter to obtain crude N, N'-Bis(4-ethoxycarbonylphenyl)-N-benzylformamidine.
