The TEC kinase family is composed of five members, TEC , BTK (Bruton's Tyrosine Kinase), ITK (interleukin-2-inducible T-cell kinase)/EMT/TSK, BMX and TXK/RLK. The TEC family kinases participate in phosphotyrosine-mediated and phospholipid-mediated signaling systems.
