Cyclochlorotine is a mycotoxin that can be extracted from the yellow rice infectant Penicillium islandicum Sopp. Cyclochlorotine promotes glycogenolysis, inhibits glycogen synthesis, affects fat synthesis and protein synthesis in liver cells.
