[Description] Cy5 dyes are one type of the most common red fluorophores. Its max. absorbance/emission max is 646/665nm. They are widely used for labeling peptides, proteins and oligos etc. for fluorescence imaging and other fluorescence-based biochemical analysis.
[Uses] Sulfo-Cy5 Carboxylic Acid can be used as reactant/reagent in preparation and identification of cyanine-dye labeled peptidic ligand for Y1R and Y4R, based upon the neuropeptide Y C-terminal analog BVD-15.
