General procedure for the synthesis of 4-chloro-2,6-dimethylbromobenzene from 4-chloro-2,6-dimethylaniline: the procedure was carried out according to Example 1, with the difference that only 6.95 g (0.025 mol) of FeSO4-7H2O was used.At the end of the reaction 20.7 g of oily product was obtained. The content of 4-chloro-2,6-dimethylbromobenzene in the product was analyzed by gas chromatography (GC) to be 97.1% and the yield was 91% of the theoretical value. | [References]
